چکیده
Multiple argument dispatching is a natural extension of single-argument, or receiver-based, dispatch. Recently several techniques were proposed that aim to make multiple dispatch an efficient operation. However, none of the studies has actually analyzed run-time behavior. In this study we compare several techniques, two of which are presented for the first time, by writing down abstract assembly code call sequences. We discuss the expected instruction-level parallelism and give formulas for the critical path. This preliminary analysis gives us promising candidates for later, more rigorous experimentation.

Group Collaboration, Scaffolding Instruction, and Peer Assessment of Iranian EFL Learners Oral Tasks
Peer assessment has gained growing popularity in education and teaching. Being a learning tool, evaluating their peers can equip learners with skills to develop judgments about what forms high-quality work. There have been however research gaps in the literature showing a lack of adequate work on the investigation of peer assessment in a group-oriented classroom context. The present study inten...

Background and Objectives: Work-related injuries are considered as the third cause of mortality across the world and have been introduced as one of the health, social and economic risk factors amongst industrial and developing communities. The present epidemiologic survey aimed to assess the work-related accidents among Iranian workers who were insured by the Social Security Organisation . ...
متن کاملAn Application of the ABS LX Algorithm to Multiple Sequence Alignment
We present an application of ABS algorithms for multiple sequence alignment (MSA). The Markov decision process (MDP) based model leads to a linear programming problem (LPP), whose solution is linked to a suggested alignment. The important features of our work include the facility of alignment of multiple sequences simultaneously and no limit for the length of the sequences. Our goal here is to ...
متن کاملThe Effect of Explicit Instruction of Formulaic Sequences on Oral Proficiency Improvement of Young Iranian EFL Students
Abstract This study aimed to shed light on young Iranian EFL students’ oral proficiency improvement through explicit instruction of formulaic sequences (FSs). This pretest-posttest quasi experimental study was conducted in a bilingual school in Shahrekord, Iran. Accordingly, based on ACTFL OPI test, two groups of low intermediate students with age range of 11 to 12 were chosen to be assigned as...
